About 1984

1984 Arcade in its basic form is a classic 1980s Style Arcade. Here at 1984 we feature games from the 80's as well as a few from the 70's and 90's if they "fit". As you enter 1984 you pay five dollars at the door and then you can play all the video games you want. *We do offer Pinball for 25 cent per play. The games we offer are difficult to find and we are really more then just an arcade - it's a classic gaming museum featuring arcade machines that are just not available to the public anymore. We are especially proud of our collection of Vector games like Asteroids, Deluxe Asteroids, Gravitar, Tempest and BattleZone! You will find almost all the classics here including Space Invaders, Ms. Pac Man, Centipede and many more. We have about 50 games and we rotate new games in almost weekly. Of course we offer private parties and an 80's vibe, complete with music videos from ABC to ZZTop... Its all here at 1984.

Age Requirement for parties! We are setting a minimum age of 8 years old for parties at 1984.Younger children have difficulty reaching most of our games and become bored easily with 25 year old machines that they cant understand or reach. We want our guests to enjoy our 80s arcade and want to come back when they leave. Plan your party accordingly... If you have any questions about age, parties or our facilities please call us during our open hours Wed.- Sat. from 4PM To 11PM at 417-831-3665 You can have your party during OPEN HOURS! or Reserve ALL of 1984 for your private event! Your party will be totally tubular at 1984! Please call us during our open hours Wed.- Sat. from 4PM To 11PM with any questions or to book a party at (417) 831-3665. • We only accept cash or checks for parties and entry to 1984, Sorry no Debit or Credit cards. • Party room rental starts at $25 per hour and run for two hours. 1984 is open Wed. thru Sat. from 4pm to 11pm. • Private events run for two hours and are a flat rate of $180.00. You may invite up to 100 guests. • Outside beverages are not allowed. • Party members can purchase Soda, Vitamin Water, Juices and Water at a discounted rate of 99¢ a bottle. • You may bring in outside food (cake, pizza, snacks). • We will provide plates, napkins and plasticware, upon request. • Host and guests may arrive no sooner than 10 min. prior to event. • A deposit must be received within 7 days after booking to holdyour time. Cancellation of event less than 48 hours before eventforfeits deposit. (cash or checks only)
